There are some treasures that can only be appreciated with time. This is what Annick Goutal realised while in a garden in Kyoto, when her husband Alain offered her a bouquet of gardenias. Twelve hours later, she was still under their charm: the scent that she had loved so much the day before had grown stronger, the smell was deliciously earthy. Gardénia Passion was born.
